Hi everyone. It's been a while since I've been on, hope you all are doing well.
I was wondering if anyone had a horror story about accidents, the dreaded door dings, etc. As for me, it all started one day when Penelope's daddy was driving her, (don't mind me, I'm a drama queen). Everything was going well. We had pulled into a parking space in front of a restaurant to pick up some pupus for a party. As we were pulling out of our parking space, a girl in a Nissan Quest van decides that she wants to pull out of her space too, not looking our way, only the way that traffic was coming. My boyfriend started honking the horn like mad, she finally heard it, yes she heard it us after she backed up into us! OH MY!!!
I can't tell you how much I was RAGING! We looked at the damage and it turns out, she had tapped the tire. No damage. If we had been even one inch forward or back, we would have problems. But, we checked the alignment and it is perfect. Well, thats my story, whats yours?

 

mid august: took on a large piece of rubber in the wee hours of the morning doing 80-85mph on 95 north in connecticut, cut in front valance and scuffing on right valance (under passenger door), chip on s-lite, MINI 1

following week: rear-ended by porsche boxter s on 287 west in new york, MINI 1

following week, labor day weekend: pothole blow-out on right front tire friday night, possible damage to wheel, alignment? this on MINI 2

next night: same pothole, blow-out and definite damage to wheel, alignment? this on MINI 1
