Surf rack for MINI?

Thanks for the pic of kbseto's car. I have seen those and they are by far the most sturdy ones but I am not too keen on having a permanent mount. Getting old so I am probably going to have to load a longboard too (been over 20 years since I last surfed here) but it will only be when I can't use our other cars.
I saw one car drive by with a longboard in Ewa Beach but missed what kind of rack the car had (I think it was a girl driving).
I'll keep searching.

i gotta admit that the mini racks are probably the most solid set out there, so far. yep, supposedly they are removable, but i never have popped'em off. i'm gonna have to see for myself what the roof caps look like in place before i get my mcs. right now i'm trying to figure out if the other non-screw racks are really all that solid for carrying true longboards and possibly kayaks. not quite sold on them yet. as of now, i'm leaning toward saris roof racks. i'm hoping some more options pop up in the next few months as mini's get more popular.
