I saw it in Illinios, however it seems to be alot of money($4000) to go a second faster.For the mcs only ~smc

Do you live in Hawaii? If so then talk to Aka at the Mini of HI dealership to get on the wait list which is about 10 long-maybe less. So far two kits were installed. It is only for the MCS in the US. Price is about $4500 plus about 10+ hours of labor or about $1000 more. Rough total cost is about $6000.

The dealership in HI will get in a few more kits in the following weeks and will lottery them. Remember the reason why the cost is high- you get up to a full 4 year dealer warranty with the upgrade.

 

Dealers have been installing the JCW kit since June. However, it seems there is a backlog. People that were first on the list, at most dealers have had theirs installed, but for everyone after that, we are still waiting. There does seem to be some dealers that have received more than one.
The Hartford dealer has installed one, they have reservations for 8. I am number three on their, now actually number two becasue they installed their first one about a month ago. Unfortunately they have no idea when the others will arrive, there doesn't seem to be very good communication between JCW and MINI.

 

MINI of Hawaii has two more kits on the way. One has already been paid for, but the other one is up for grabs. To reserve a kit a $500 down payment is needed. First come first serve basis. Call MINI of Hawaii and talk to Kari to get more details.
