I have recently purchased a 2003 MCS. I am interested in purchasing a M7 16% pulley. Can I purchasing the belt tensioner tool pulley removal tool from you also. If so what are the prices. Or I was wondering if I attended the DIY on the 26th if someone had the tools I could use.

What kind of pulley is on the car now? Stock? I am afraid that pulley changes are not something we can cover at the upcoming DIY session - it takes too long. If you are a first timer, you'll have to give yourself about 3+ hours - I think I have it down to about 1.5 hours and I've done it a few times. Not for the faint of heart. You have to lift your engine to get to the pulley and if it's stock, it's a b!t(h to get out. I know that Roy (drea-min) is doing a 17% to 19% pulley swap so you may want to get in touch with him so you can sit in oh his endeavors.

Sorry eastsidemini for going off-topic. BTW, NO SHIPPING! Great deals!

Thanks for the response DaKineMini and advice. My MCS stock at the moment and wasn't quite ready for the pulley install, but the price was right. Maybe I can get the pulley and put it in at a later date. I will try to get in touch with Roy when I get a chance. Maybe I can watch or help him to get some more experiance before I do mine.

Sorry eastsidemini.

Tensioner tools

Casper
I can order the pulley tools for you, but are you confident enough to do it yourself. There is a how to on Nam but it is not that easy to do The price for both the s.c puller and the belt tensioner are $222.50 total with tax and shipping. I can also go over the how to with you if you decided to get the parts.

I can only have wished, I would have bought those springs in a heartbeat.
