if not jcw stuff, wow! you must be spending upwards of the neighborhood of what minihune and i are shelling out for our minis.

 

Hey! I just got back from Maui and saw a few MINIs! I left a few spotters for the Houston MINI Motoring Society. Alot of houston people are on Cooperspeed.com, so come by and chat sometime! Is your club based out of oahu? Anyway, i spent the whole time wishing i had my car on the road to Hana.

hey, it's 10 am right now, and i just read this just in time...perfect reason to take a cruise into town and p/u some tasty lunch on the way. now where should i go to p/u lunch?

 

OK, we made some progress. Thanks to all who attended (about 25 of us) and to Kohu/MINI of HI for the drinks.

We have a core group of about 4 or 5+ honestly interested MINI enthusiasts willing to volunteer to serve as club officers. The core group will examine the bylaws and look at the roles for each position and finalize who will take which role but for now at least we know:

I'll be president for 2005
bellybean329 will be VP
Kohu will be MINI (dealer) liason
Keiki will be founder (as always)
Sadie will be newsletter coordinator
JCW04 will be event coordinator
Bill will be membership coordinator
Mina and Blownlonestar are looking at secretary/treasurer

We will be scheduling an officer's meeting in the next week or two. Probably have officer's meetings quarterly.

We would still love to hear from more members about what you'd like to see for activities for the year. We are always open for suggestions. There are plenty of open dates for 2006.
