Just became a MINI owner in November & love driving it around. I've been seeing more & more MINIs on the roads lately just in the short time I've had mine. It's so fun to drive & I thought I'd be fun to get together with others & have a MINI run sometime

 

Bummer, my wife and I just got back from Maui. It would have been nice to meet a fellow owner. We saw a bunch of MINIs while we were there, surprisingly not as many cabriolets as I would have thought. Aloha!

 

Well, hope you guys had a good trip here. Look up a Maui MINI club when you come back someday.

You can always put up a flyer at BMW and plan a meet up at some shopping center sunday morning.

 

Hi, I'm waiting for my Mini to be built and shipped, should arrive by the end of November 2012. I live in Wailuku and am interested in a club, too! If not a club, this forum is a good place to organize little get-togethers to go for a Sunday drive, have lunch and share ideas and techniques on car detailing and modifications and other things.

I'm currently gathering up all my car detailing supplies, and the few little interior/exterior accessories so I can start caring for my car once it arrives.

I don't think there's any Mini clubs on Maui right now. Tried searching the internet but no luck. I haven't been to my local BMW dealership yet so I haven't asked them for any info on clubs. So far I"m dealing with Mini Hawaii on Oahu, all through emails and phone.

To find out if there is an active MINI club on Maui just ask around at the Maui Dealership and at the MINI of HI in Honolulu dealership.

Usually they know if one exists. It used to be mauiminiclub.com, but I don't see that it is still active.

Hey guys... I am moving to Maui in June 2013! I just ordered my 2013 Mini Cooper S Coupe to take with me. It is my new Mauimobile. I hope to join or even revive a Mini enthusiast group on Maui. Keal, maybe you and I can revive the group?!?!

When you get to Maui drop by the BMW/MINI dealership and tell them you want to start a group. They might be able to steer some new owners your way or hold a MINI event at the dealership, they can invite recent MINI owners for a get together.

Do a MINIs and Coffee event on a weekend, show a Movie while you are at it.

 

Sounds like a good idea. I've only gone there once, so far, to service my MINI, and service rep was very helpful in getting oil change done. Maybe they'll help in club info.
