To mod or not to mod that’s the question?

Finally buying a 2013 GP2!!



If anyone has personal knowledge, please share with me.

Questions:

If I were to leave it stock vs. doing a Stage 2.
  1. If I were to swap the stock JCW exhaust with a non-resonated Akropovic, does anyone know which sounds better as in more aggressive? If I were to leave the JCW exhaust, would doing a resonator delete produce more sound in a good way or would there be too much drone on highway?
  2. If I do a Stage 2 tune, go catted dp or catless? What would be the sound difference? The county I live in does not have emissions testing.
I like a lot of burble and some pop in the exhaust- I do not like it to sound like gunshots or firecrackers. I also like to get up and go when I need to, but I never redline or intend on tracking the car. Suggestions of the highest quality upgraded parts i.e. intercooler, DP, airbox?

Any suggestions on what you have done to your GP that I may like? Or, should I just leave it the heck alone? 🤔
