Question GP3 Wheel Offset?

I'm considering buying some aftermarket wheels for my GP3 and storing my OEM wheels to keep safe, but I'm not sure what the offset should be to clear the brakes and not have the wheels stick out too far. I saw in a thread by DavinPinAZ that he installed some 18x8.5 TSWs with an offset of 32, which looks great, but the wheels I'm considering only come in the following sizes:
  1. 18x8 ET35
  2. 18x8 ET50
  3. 18x8.5 ET42
I'm leaning toward size #1, but wanted to get some other thoughts or advice. Any help would be appreciated!

30 - 35, but the inner shape of the wheel is important as well

The standard GP3 wheel is an 8x18 with ET 39

Thanks for the info, sgscomps and Clutch Wotan! Based on that, sounds like ET35 could probably work, depending on the spoke design.

For full context, I'm considering a set of Volks Racing G25s, which are still lightweight and will hopefully fit over the GP3 front calipers and rotors. I know that they can fit over the JCW BBKs (shown below), but I believe the GP3 brakes are still a little bigger (14" vs 12.4"); and it's the caliper that I'm more worried about than the rotors.

Fill that out and any serious supplier can tell you if his wheels fit the GP3 caliper

FYI, the F56 JCW brakes in that picture are 335 mm in diameter or 13.18 inches, not the 12.4 you mentioned, you are confused with the previous gens, R56 JCW brakes. I own an F56 S that I installed the 335mm brakes on and also own GP3 #1057. Based on measurements I collected on the brakes while looking to upgrade to Carbotech pads, the offset between the wheel mounting surface and the face of the rotor is larger on the GP than the JCW rotors. In addition, the JCW calipers sit significantly farther out from the face of the wheel mount likely due to the same reason. The logical conclusion is assuming that the wheels are 18", if they fit in front of the JCW calipers, there's a strong chance of the same. FYI, I will be installing my new pads and rotors next week and I can take some pictures with a caliper tool on the old GP rotors and against my JCW rotors on my F56 S.

Thanks for the clarification. I have very little familiarity with JCW brakes, so I really appreciate the insight.
