Actual offset of NZO Monza wheels

I have a set of NZO Monza wheels, in 16x6.5, and have always heard they were Mini legal for Solo2. I noticed the inside hub says ET40, but am assuming that the wheels were machined for Mini use in Solo2, which is a legal offset of at least 42 or 44mm. I tried measuring the offset myself, but my accuracy is somewhat questionable. Seems like the measurement was possibly 44mm offset. Anyone else wonder about the offset markings on these once very popular wheels ?

They are 44, yes the casting is a little misleading.
