GP2 suspension

Hey NAM,

inhave used the search button asking this question but didn’t find an answer. With stock GP2 can the springs be upgraded and/or is it worth it? Or just swap out the coilovers. I’m trying to find photos of GP2 at its lowest setting

thank you

Yes you can change springs. The stock front springs are "beehive" type. I changed to a standard coilover type, and needed to have an adapter for the top mount for the springs. Rears are easy, as they are standard coilover type oem. I was racing, so used various spring rates and experimented with length and tender springs as well. It is easy to get the bilsteins revalved to different rates and specs as well to match.

Having said that, depending on what you want to achieve, it may be just as easy to swap to a set of coilovers that is exactly what you want
