Recommended Transmission Oil

Just reached 50k on my GP2 and would like to change the manual transmission oil.
Should stay with the OEM oil? Any recommendations?

They are discussing MTF-LT3 alternative.. GP2 uses MTL-LT4, perhaps nobody tried an alternative yet. I'll stick with the factory recomendation for the mean time.

Valid point I did not catch. Thanks.

I do see Royal Purple indicates their Synchromax fluid is suitable for MTF LT3 and LT4 applications.
