Folks,

Trying to gather some data points around the stock stereo in the GP2 - specifically when it changed from early to late, to better provide context to my detailed post that I'm working on for the late stereo.

I believe that the early GP2 stereo still has the "fade" option in the headunit - and I know that the later GP2 doesn't.

So, does YOUR GP2 have a fade option? (if it's there, and it works, it will "fade" from top to bottom in the doors)

If you could provide some sort of build period context - build date, last 7 of vin, or global production number (or 2 of the 3!) that would be excellent. Feel free to PM your answers if you don't want those details shared!

No fad, made in late 2012. The GP2 has a horrible stereo. I upgraded the speakers to JL and added highs on the top. I painted the rings to match the stock flat silver
