New mini GP.....makes you more attractive.

Hi boys and girls, i have just taken delivery of GP 1905 new from dealership. They have done tests that state that laughter makes you more attractive...not sure about this but I can't stop laughing when I drive it through and twisties. I am literally laughing aloud at how the **** end is so lively. It's been wet the last 24 hrs so I've taken it easy especially with the kumho tyres. I've left the traction systems on until I learn the car and push its limits, I've come from a jcw with jcw sports suspension and a whiteline rear sway bar and that was never as lively in the rear as this gp even with the traction systems on. I absolutely love this car....it's so good to be driving and laughing again. Added the armrest that makes it so comfortable now. And the seats are so so so so comfortable and should be standard in any car. Only issue so far was the delivery guys damaged the front end which is being repaired at their expense. Will be lowering it next week and corner balancing, and realignment to get the most out of it.
So happy I finally bought one before they all sold out, and wrapped to be back in a mini.

It's the factory jcw armrest. I believe it fits to the centre and not the seat mounts. I'll post a couple pics. I asked the dealer to install the closest matching armrest available and that's what he had installed. If I didn't use this as a daily you wouldn't need the armrest, but it's a really nice thing to have.

I reckon it's this one, the dealer said they didn't have to replace all of the centre to fit it.

Congrats on getting the car, it looks great!

Finally got around to weighing wheels for you. Stock GP 17x7.5J wheels with stock 215/40/17 tyres = 19.5kg.

My R112 17x7J JCW rims with kumhos (but larger 215/45/17 size) = 19kg.

So based on that I would assume the GP rims are probably at least 1kg heavier than the R112's

Hey robbo, thanks for doing that. Appreciate your time. I'm still undecided on which set of spare wheels to get. I know most don't like the standard wheels but I reckon they compliment the gp so I'll leave them on for everyday driving. I am looking at these below as a track rim as they are the lightest I have found so far, still need to clarify if they will fit up correctly with or without spacers etc. They weigh 7.45kg and they are 17x7.5.

Love these rims but they are about 9.7kg which defeats the purpose of buying rims, they weigh similar to standard gp wheels, but I reckon they will look great on the car.
