Removing Decals

For those of you who have removed the decals, can you please post more pictures. It's not an easy decision but I am so tempted! Thanks!

I haven't any pictures, but I do remember other threads about this.
Search is your best friend.

I typed in "remove decals" and found these!
Good Luck.

I found one more photo of the car. It belongs to another owner, so I can't confirm the details.

My WIFE is cursing me out for removing my GP side stripes, roof stripes and lipstick. Me? I'm glad they're gone! Now I'm thinking of peeling of the GP letters as well. The only thing stopping me is that I bought a set of magnetic vinyl numbers to match.

I think I want to remove the side decals. The letters + stripe on the door. I've tried to get used to them, but it's just not growing on me. I like all the other decals, however. My question is, at this point, is it too late? Will I already have faded paint around the decals? Car is parked in shade when possible, but it is a daily driver (about 15k miles) and I do live in north Texas. Prior owner I believe was in Louisiana, so it's seen a few hot summers. I've read the decals run $1500, so I'm not sure it's worth it to find out.

I ended up removing the side "GP" letters as well, for the same reason. Everyone's situation is different, but being on the side of the car you probably won't have any issues with fading.

I did purchase a replacement set of side stripes (uninstalled), just to keep them available to the car for the future.

Thanks. I was thinking being on the side would help, too, as far as fading. I have to have a roof rack right now to carry my bike, so there's just too much going on visually. How much were the decals? I may do the same.
