Stock Mini Lap Record at local track

Stock tires...toasted, I'm thinking RE11s, what tires do people typically get?
Stock brake pads, what pad options are out there? You can brake like a formula car, very very late, later than your comfort zone.
I see you have a GT3 997.2, nice! I have a 07 GT3 and 09 GT3 Cup, I raced Daytona in a GT3 Cup...let's just say I can dance the GT3 lol

Very nice. Now I understand why the GP was going so fast in that track video!
Do you race as a hobbie?
Did you feel the GP did fairly well on the track? What could be improved?
The brakes on the GP are I believe the same as the ones on BMW 135, so the track pad choices could be plenty. I'm trying to upgrade to a nicer than stock pad, that's tailored for aggressive street / track driving. Does anyone have any suggestions/personal experience?
Thanks for the vids.

We are racing in San Diego next week, then Houston and then Road Atlanta for the last race.
So, the Mini GP is pretty amazing in my eyes. The car is so light and the brakes are so strong that it's not a matter if it needs better pads (which of course it could use some) but it's a matter of how late you can brake, most people won't be able to mentally brake as late as the car can handle.
Things it needs:
-A proper set up, maybe different spring rates, I don't no yet. BUT it feels very balanced as it...
-Camber kit of some sort
-Brake Pads would be cool
-Cooling efficiency is a no brainer but I live in Dallas Texas, it's F'n HOT here and the turbo dies after a couple of laps.
If we can get Hawk DTC pads for this thing, it will be CRAZY.
Where are you from?
What tires do people typically get after the stock ones are ruined?
