Home turf is prox 90 miles SE of Sedona over the mtns in Payson. From here, fun drives are somewhat limited with essentially all roads being State hwys vs secondary canyon roads as around your area. Very few MINIs in our town, so my buddy and I (his being 2006 R53 Checkmate JCW) basically are a "club" of just 2 members. See some pics here, which you might recognize as being near Lake Mary and Mormon Lake...

Love the Black-Eye Purple!
I was initially looking for a 1st gen JCW car but ended up leaning into 2nd gen 2013 JCW. Got lucky on price and finding this GP. Now I really want a GP1 to go with it!!! Think I may have a problem.

Been about a year now (scroll up about 10 posts) ...
The 6-8 month heatwave finally let go and I washed the car for the first time in way too long...
Only put about 3k more miles on it since then, and it's tons of fun. Been replacing a few trim pieces and such here and there lately -- it's former life as an AZ sunbather had some ill effects).
Also, I see that 0092 never made it to the registry. I happened upon that one a little while back, crossing paths on my way to work. I busted a U-turn and had a very brief chat with the owner -- he had just gotten it like a week prior. The funny part is that he told his wife how "probably never see another one on the road" level of rare they are.
Hopefully he'll come here and check in, but in the meantime you can add this partial entry to the registry:

For the 2013 GP, they all say "1 of 2000" on the dash and door sills. In the North American markets only, a sequence number was assigned on the roof. If you can provide the last 7 characters of your VIN, I can provide the assigned US number.
Yours must not have been applied at delivery. Some of these were installed @ the port, and others were handed to dealers to install, so there was some inconsistency.
