Drove down to Mall of Georgia MINI from NC to get it. Long day but worth it.
I called them as soon as it was listed and their manager said the car was going in for detail. And then never hear back from them. There were two other cars I was looking at up in PA. 2 out of 3 cars I was really interested in sold within 2 weeks. However there are cars on Autotrader that have sat for months. I think clean, low mileage cars are what everyone wants.
Well, I know I can't get in the official registry because this didn't come from the factory but I'm very close to completion on my GP Coupe. The most expensive stuff is done. I always wished MINI would make this model so when they didn't I took it upon myself to build my own.
GP Coilovers done last year, GP brakes and wheels just completed today. Diffusor, red intakes, CF belly pan and dash, door sills, dash badge, hatch badge, cross-strut brace all done as well. I wish I could make my badges say 1 of 2001. LOL! Far as I know, she's the only one of her kind.
If there's ever room for honorary membership, please let me know. :-)
Looks great! Got any interior pics? Yeah too bad MINI didn’t follow through on adding the GP package to the Coupe, but nice to see someone take it to that level.
I put a few GP bits onto our old 2013 R55 Clubman. Added the GP wheels, stitched leather dash, steering wheel, mirror caps, and brake ducts.

Was playing Forza Motorsport 7 and noticed that the 2013 R56 GP2 they have in game is US GP2 0337 and my curiosity landed me in this thread.
I see that US GP 0293 is not on the registry. I have owned US GP 0293 since January of 2020. Bought it secondhand from the original owner with 25,000 miles on it. I've wanted this car since the day I first laid eyes on it, feel free to add me to the registry. I am unsure what my actual production number out of 2000 is.
