I'm looking for a GP2. Is there a way to find out my production number without emailing? Just by looking at the vin or something? What's the difference between the roof number and production number?

From what I've been told the only way to get the actual production number is from Mini. I just Facebook messaged to get mine. Production number is the true number your car was in the production line. Don't quote me but I was told that the US wanted plate numbers 1-500 so they made roof plates for such but it doesn't correspond with the cars true production number.
If your interested in a GP I'm thinking about possibly selling mine.
