gusmiami, You're evil.

OK fine. I'll be a pic *****. My garage sux, so no pics of that, but the fleet, plus one I recently sold, and one I am thinking of getting next.

Not as cool, but...

The 06 JCW MINI

The 03 JCW MINI

The daily driver A4. (Your RS4 is the exact spec I planned to replace it with in a couple years!) I freakin' LOVE that black with graphite.

M3 (recently sold.) Thinking of buying another, or perhaps the last car posted below.

What could be next:

gusmiami,

Which brand of floor tiles are you using? I'm getting ready to do up my garage and there are so many options out there its mind boggling. I'm trying to get as much feed back as I can before dropping the coin.

Also, do you have any problem keeping the white tiles clean? I'm curious how much trouble it is keeping the tire marks off of them.

Thanks again.

I got the Race-Deck flooring. I haven't had any problems with it. I do kind of miss being able to just hose the garage down, but it's a tradeoff I guess for it to look the way it looks.
Tire marks aren't really that big a problem. I usually vacuum the floor with my wall vac, then use a spray bottle to spray degreaser on the floor and wipe it down with something like this:

Thanks. I was originally looking at RaceDeck, but after getting samples I started having doubts. First about jack stands digging into them and then about them being loud or rattling since they're a harder material then some of the others out there.

Now I'm kinda leaning toward Tuff-Seal. They zip together to lockout liquids getting through, but they aren't ventilated underneath like RaceDeck. But then again if you paint epoxy down it doesn't let the concrete breath either

Choices, choices ... :impatient

Race Deck seems to handle jack stands OK. I don't own it myself yet, but have been around a few guys who have it.

I'm paranoid, so if I were leaving the car up for any extended period, I'd slip some 1/4 marine ply under the stand to diffuse the load.

Tuff Seal link? I'm curious about the product.

+1 vote for Race Deck! Works great, looks great and is great! I have it in our new showroom, and I will be putting it in the home garage when I can stop buying new toys long enough to save some bucks to do it!

Ok totally off topic, but I have seen all of JCW Drivers cars up close and they are REALLY nice! Very clean, meticulously maintained, and tastefully modded. I say that and he STILL doesn't have my parts on either car (that I am aware of) Why am I friends with him again? Just kidding. He is a great guy, avid help to the local mini club and all around stand up guy. He won't shut up about an NSX, so I trust something will end up in his garage in the spring!

+ 1 more on Race Deck flooring. Easy to install, easy to keep clean, and looks pretty darn sharp.

I've done my garage with Flexi-tile, its rubber, very esy to trim and put down and Lowes carries it, so price is pretty good. I covwered my 2 car garage for 1000.00. I'll get a picture on here later today.

OFF TOPIC: Gus my sales manager just bought an z4M Coupe to drive while he waits for another car to arrive in a few months. LOVES it! I have yet to pry his hands from it to take a test drive, but I love the car, sounds great, looks great and the OEM steering wheel is to die for!

back to topic!
