Where to locate XM antenna?

I've now got XM and Dice running now in my GP but need to re-locate the XM antenna. It is currently in the vent area where the wiper motor is. Anyone else done this and if so; where did you place your antenna?

Thanks in advance!

sirius antenna

I've also have the sat antenna mounted in the vents in front of the passenger side of my cabrio. No sure if you were looking for better signal or different ideas. Bryce at Palo Uber sent me a mounting plate that is totally concealed. Just posted my install on the nav forum couple of days ago. Not sure how to make a link to it though....

Not GP, But I did not want mine on exterior, so I put mine on front dash directlly in front of little hole with cover goes (used for alarm with cars that have that option otherwise just a hole with snap in cap) Then I finally put start panel when they removed top dash panel I hid antannea wire under and ran it down below glove box where sirrius is located and walla NO WIRES.
Stealth look, no exterior antanneas.

My XM antenna is mounted about an inch back from the top center of the windshield.

There is a plastic channel that runs around the windshield that the wire runs through. The guys at Best Buy installed it.

The only caveat is that if you go this route, be sure to use a piece of double sided tape to stick the antenna to the roof. The @#$% magnet wasn't strong enough for mine and the antenna ended up scratching the roof.
