Hi, I was wondering if I install a new airintake on my GP witch is the Alta Cooper S Intake What do I do with some of the vacuum lines connected to the JCW intake? Like the flapper valve vacuum line.
Thanks

Vacuum line plug or a screw. Do a search on JCW intake. I know someone has complete instruction list on how to do this.

could you just use normal vacuum hose plugs? or are the lines too small?

A golf tee works perfectly to plug lines. Learned that in a shade tree mechanics class years ago.

Silly question...Why change intakes? If you want a bit more performance out of the JCW intake...simply wedge the flap open on the back of the airbox. If you need instructions on that let me know..

I'd be interested in how you wedged yours, and if just wedging it is all you did (i.e., you didn't disconnect vac line nor 12v).

Well at first we had no idea what we were doing. But we took off the intercooler cover and you push the airbox back to unclip the 2 clips on the back of it. Then it should come off. And dont worry about the vacuum lines if you disconnect them just put them back on. When I accidentally disconnected mine I hurd a big air sound. I was scared. But I put it back and everything was good. My GP works fine. And for the battery you dont disconnect it. you just unclip it from the airbox. Its kind of hard to get it off. So just tugg a little.
