Hi, All:
As of Saturday, I'm now an official GP owner. I was close to putting my name on the list last year, but decided against at that point in time (my S was almost brand new at the time anyway). I found out that my local dealer in Palm Harbor, FL (Ferman MINI) had one of the remaining few that were specially released a couple of weeks ago to select dealers. Well, I jumped at the chance and here I am....

I just called them (480-538-mini). They told me I have to be physically there. They will not take a deposit. I offered to write a check for the whole thing. They refused. Imagine fyling out there and to buy the car and someone there beat you to it. That is nor fair. Read the post "BS story in Arizona Mini"

did you offer to overnight them a Cashiers Check and tell them the date you are going to fly out there and pick up the car? Would think with the cashiers check in hand the car is paid for or perhaps wire them the money. Worst case call -1800-Ask-MINI number and see if they can help.
