GP with BBS RV-F wheels

Here is a picture of my GP with the 17x7.5 (+42mm offset) BBS RV-F wheels. I kept the GP wheels, of course. The BBS wheels are for "daily driver" duty. I'll get the GP lowered in January, so it will "look" better, too!

Not bad actually.

I kind of passed up on these initially because they kind of looked blah... But now I'd have to say I feel better about them.

In black would be really nice.

I think these are the lightest coming from BBS.

Looks good.

RGR's are only a few ounces more, so yes, but the difference is subjective about style vs. any performance benefit. Both look great, though I'm not sure I like anything other than black on a GP.....too many tones of silver, grey and black going on already to throw in one more in the wheels

BBS calls it "diamond black" which is an interesting way to describe what looks more like "gun metal grey" or anthracite in character. It is a nice look and finish in person, moreso than the pics reveal (reminds me of the GP pics before we got to see the first ones in person and realized the GP looks so much better in person than in picture).

I like the RGR a lot but it would be harder to clean (I'm a bit of a clean wheel fanatic) and the +38mm offset (of the RGR) concerned me versus the +42mm of the RV-F.

The 7-spoke is pretty plain but conveys a "no nonsense / all business" look (well, that's what it does for me, at least) which flows with the theme I'm trying to keep with modest mods to my GP.

I didn't want the wheels to stand out too much, or otherwise "take away" from the GP itself. However, all of the above notwithstanding, if the BBS RS-GT in diamond black with machined lip, had been available in a size that fits the MINI, well I'd have been all over that in a heartbeat!

Fine looking set of wheels on the GP. Keeping it simple and clean enhances the GP's allure.

Do you have some more pictures from the front and close-up from the side showing the aspect of the wheel with the offset. Nice style.

I tend to agree! For some reason, even though these rims are BBS, they look cheap or something to me. I dunno, it's weird. Doesn't look bad, I just like the stockers better.
