GP Wheel Size

Can someone confirm the GP wheel size.
I believe it is 18 x 7.5 with a 42 offset but I am not sure.

18x7
I think the offset is something around +50 or so
Hopefully somebody with the exact for sure will further reply

I put a set of BBS wheels in 17x7.5 with +42mm offset on my GP for daily driver duty (running 215/40/ZR17 tires now)

For me it was a very nice improvement especially due to greater tire selection (compared to the stock 205/40/18 rubber)

Thanks for the posts.
Based on the feedback, it looks like the GP wheel size is 18 x 7 with 52 offset.
I wonder why Mini went with so much offset. In my opinion it would have been better to have less offset and the wheels/tires would have been pushed further toward the outside edges of the car. As is, the wheels/tires are too far inset within the wheel wells.

Well, one thing nice with the stock setup, virtually no dust or dirt or such from the road will scoot up the sides of the car!

I switched to BBS RV-F (diamond black) wheels in 17x7.5 with +42mm offset, for daily driving, glad I did it, but I do notice some "spray" up the sides of the car, compared to driving with the stock GP wheels.

I can't swear to this, but more rotating mass further away from the wheels ... robbs you of HP.

I'll bet that's why they went with 52 in offset. Less MOI power loss at the wheels.

Same thing happens when going to bigger brakes. The calipers come further out and will take away horsepower.

Good luck finding an 18x7 in 4 lug with 52 offset. I've given up looking. There just aren't any besides the GP ones...
