How about we all motor our GPs to Indianapolis and party at the Formula One next year - June 14 - June 17, 2007 ?

The local MINI Club in Indy: MINICCI Homepage(http://minicci.org/) or the Chicago group :(http://chicagominiclub.com/) Chicago MINI Motoring Club has a car show and picnic/party at local MINI dealer ( D & R) and get togethers all over - lots of local racing Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and even Sunday night!

The 2001 F-1 race is where I saw my first new Mini, on a flatbed truck parading outside the track. I believe that I will drive 0696 from Oklahoma to this event, sounds like a good idea!

 

I will see all you guys there even though I just have regular S. I have been going to that race at least the friday and saturday events for a few years. The race is pretty good, but if you get a chance see the friday and saturday things as well. They are just as good if not better than the actual race.

 

Yeah, Winston! I saw the new MINI there also, on top of the Ford Expedition! 2001 that was.
Glad you will be driving there in a GP ! I am starting to get inspired.

AlaskaBlue ! - cool!.....we will be in grandstand at turn 6, I think it is, just before the back straight! I met someone else there last year!

Hey - don't forget about the FANTASTIC local racing in the near-by area on Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sun nights! Certainly in 05 we saw better racing than the F1 cars, thank you Michelin.

 

I've got my tkts for 07. Sorry I'm not a GP Just a S. Looking forward to see how ferrari does this year.

 

Hey I plan to be there as well but I am probably flying as always. My 2006 MCS will have to stay home! I do have some pictures of the MINI on the Ford Excursion back in Sept 2001 at the USGP on my web log...check them out on the link below!...I would love to see some MINIs at the USGP! And yes I am a Ferrari fan....
