Winter rims & tires for GP1292!`
I finally decided on the winter set for my GP. Thanks to Alex @ Tire Rack for his help and thanks to those fellow NAMers who provided input (positive & negative
) Matt; thanks to you as well!!.
I should get em Monday so I will let ya know how they are once installed!
I hate to ask...but how do you think these will look & perform??

Tim....those are hot. you may reconsider the rims for summer rims...super light, outstanding rim.
As for the tires, you will be more than happy with them, also an outstanding performer in snow, and even dry conditions.
Can't wait to see them. Your car will feel nimble and secure with them on, that is for sure.

I debated on this rim, which as you say is lighter compared to other options. I know they will damage more easily than other rims but I will just have to watch for the pot holes and I will be fine. Besides, there will be a limit to how much snow GP1292 will need to navigate. Plan B is the wifey's Accord!
With my GP I purchased the additional warranty on rims, tires, windshield, door dings. I wonder if it will cover these? I am going to ask Schomp.
