After seeing HighBids car in person... I can say that as good as those pics are, the car is breathtaking in person. Theres no pic I've seen that does that body color justice. "Thunder Blue" or somthing like that? Beautiful.

I thought vehicles used for a tax write-off had to weigh something like 5000 lbs.. For me it's not automotive related, just business use.

6,000 is what I was told. That is why vehicles such as the Hummer H2, F-350, F-450+ and Lexus GX470 are so popular even with their pathedic gas mileage.

where you get to deduct the full cost the year you bought it. Any asset used for business has a depreciation schedule whose length of time depends on the asset.

Nice photos. I'd love to drive one.

As Matt points out, the 6000lb GVW was just one tax incentive that was offered to underpin the big car makers and gas companies. There are many ways to make your rides pay. Heck, rumor has it that i could even sell now at a small profit. LOL. And maybe if I decorate the GP with a stick-on Dominoes Pizza light and deliver pies I could wring out a few more coins.

I'm an industrial Auctioneer who also dabbles in car and real estate deals. My logos on my cars start conversations that lead to those deals. It's that simple. Anyone know of any cars in barns? If so, let's go! :-)

Motor On! Jeff
