GP Ground Clearance

Does anyone know exactly what the ground clearance for the GP is? I'm asking because I have a GP on order (late October) and I every Monday - Friday I have to go through a traffic flow device that requires at least 6" of ground clearance. I'd hate to rip up my nice new GP because it's too low

I doubt a normal MINI has 6" ground clearance!

The GP is supposed to be about 1-1/2" lower than a stock MINI.
There is a low "tab" on the front bumper - but it's flexible so probably not damaged when it hits the ground.

At the rear, the side skirts come closer to the ground to "flow" air round the rear wheels - these parts could be damaged!
However, the stock MINI has a "tab" near the rear wheel that looks similarly low - but more flexible.

You can see the lower GP part in this picture, just in front of the rear wheel:

Front tabs, left and right are at 2 7/8". Easy to replace if worn down.(5 screws per side) main spoiler is at 4 1/2"

Tag,
NO WAY are you going to clear that device. Sorry. :-(

No MINI exec at delivery would admit to the ride height and it is very, very low. My worst spot is the under-body on the aero kit just in front of the rear wheels. The nose is tight too but as everyone has pointed out, the splitters are disposable. I have a long gravel driveway and it is a tiptoe just to get past the ordinary ruts and such. But once I am on that smooth pavement at the end AHHHHH.. Magnificent!
Motor On!
Jeff
