Question for GP owners

Been hunting for a Gp for a few months, hopefully one with low miles and well maintained. My question is: Is there anything I should be looking at, we're there any issues re: water pump, timing chain problems and the like.....

Thanks for any and all advise

If you get a low mileage car it's no different than looking at a standard R53. They are really good cars.

No major problems. 2006 is great year.
Normal minor problems with all 2006 Mini Cooper S are leaking thermostat housing/gasket, leaking engine mount (top passenger side), and leaking crankshaft position sensor o-ring. The coil contacts (at spark plug wires) also tend to corrode and need to be cleaned.

Here is one in Westchester (near LAX) in Southern California. He's had it up for sale since September last year and has recently lowered the price.

He's in my club but I've never met him.
