you might wanna get those seats cleaned up a bit better. Awfully low price. There needs to be a GP Cartel to keep prices where they should be. This car is too rare, too quick, and way too unique to go for sub 20k.

When I used to own a Z3 MCoupe, we were in a similar situation as the new Z4 MCoupe was released. Some owners foolishly dumped their Z3 MCs and moved onto the Z4 MC. So for a short period of maybe 1-2 yrs, the prices had softened on the Z3MC. But as many have found out, the Z3MC is so unique and rare, that prices eventually began to creep up. Mainly b/c most, if not all, the Z3MC owners owned their cars free and clear and held out for the best resale prices because demand for these cars kept going up.

I hope and suspect the same will happen for our beloved GPs. The real problem here is there are not enough owners out there driving and WRECKING their GPs! The more they wreck them, the more rare the remaining cars become . I know that sounds evil, but its the truth. As more and more Z3MC owners wrecked their cars or lost them through natural disasters (Katrina), it became apparent that the remaining cars were all that was left.

Now, here comes the fun part. Z3MCoupes were way undervalued on KBB. I was able to provide them with recent sales figures for the Z3MC that showed sold prices at least 20-30% higher than KBB values. Within 2 weeks, the KBB prices were adjusted accordingly. If you want to hold out for the right buyer and prop those prices up, I can assure you that I can get those book values up. I know people

Another sidebar. I feel like history is repeating itself with the R53 GP vs. R56 GP. The Z3MCoupe was raw and unique. A one of a kind drivers car. Nothing BMW produced since could touch it aesthetically and/or by the way of seat of the pants driver feeling. Then came the Z4 M Coupe. It was a big improvement in ways of comfort, refined handling, increased power, better comfort features (it had NAV and Bluetooth!), etc.

Sounds familiar?

Guess which car has a cult following and has resale values right next to the Z4 MC but the cars are at least 5-6 yrs older? Yeah, you guessed it.The Z3 MCoupe.

Don't doubt the R53 GP. It is the pinnacle of R53 engineering and tho its not the latest and greatest, it does still posses all the attributes that make it a great drivers car. If I didn't have to downsize right now, I would sure keep this car.
