DDM Intercooler Diverter - Benefit?
DDM Intercooler Diverter - Benefit?
Look at the design of it. You'll see it has 3 different blades all at diff angles to grab as much air as possible, but still allow the next blade to catch air. The stock diverter only has the center blade, then the rear, and the pretty much covers the last to rows on the IC.
To get data on how well this works you would have to plot a route and drive it with the stock diverter, then drive the same route with the same outside temp at the same driving speed, and acceleration. You would log the temps on both drives and see which one was lower and or recovered faster.
FYI I use the DDM diverter on my GP IC on my car.

+1 on this.
