(Posted this in 1st Gear topic as well so sorry if you've already read this!)
My husband and I just got our hands on our first Mini Cooper this weekend. We were out shopping for a new car and were looking at Subarus and VW's but nothing really felt right. Then my dad (who works for a dealership in Hinsdale, IL) lured us in to look at a Mini that was just traded in. And the rest, as they say, is history

That is to funny! I just called Land Rover Hinsdale about your GP this morning. My buddy who works there told me about it. I have all my Rovers (Range Rover, LR3 and Defender) work done at Hinsdale. He had a lot of nice things to say about that car. I wasn't looking for myself but was going to post that there was a GP available so some of the Chicago Mini Motoring Club members would know about it.
Glad it's gone to a good home. I hope to see it around sometime!

 

congrats which one did you pick up?

 

I picked up the low mileage, one owner, unmolested - GP0491 out of St. Louis. Should be arriving very soon to Seattle.

 

Very nice congrats on the purchase I had mine up for sale but everytime I drive it I just get the itch to keep it.

 

btw, put the chili red mirror caps back on! It pops on the car!
