I just got my GP state inspected and the Inspector found 2 missing screws that hold in the intercooler/intercooler housing. There are like 6 others holding everything on, so I'm not too concerned. They may have not been previously tightened and may have come loose on my 800 mile drive back to VA--not sure.

Is there a good website to check for our GP specific engine parts--or a break-away view of it? Or should I just bite the bullet and get them for MINI directly?

 

Try Realoem.com for bmw and mini parts. you can then look at thier scematics and find what you need.

for screws and such, I would stick to OE ones as they shouldn't be much. plus they're guaranteed to be the exact spec.

But I second realoem.com for finding PN's. I usually do my search first and then call the dealer telling them exactly what I need.

 

Looks like I will have to call the dealer. I think I found the right allenhead screws but they don't carry them. Excellent site, though.

While perusing--saw that the JCW badge on the lower front mesh grille is $108!! wow!! Lets hope nothing else is found missing!!
