If you don't get enough GP's to come out, a small group of us usually have Thursday night meets. We try to change the location each time so that others can come out if they're within the area of the meet. So far we've had it in Northridge & Westlake Village. Other areas being considered are Simi Valley, Studio City and Pasadena.

Not a GP, but I've been looking to meet up with some other local MINI owners. I'm located in Simi Valley. Should I just keep an eye on the SCMM website for meets or is there another place for weekly/monthly meets/runs?

Yeah, look for it in the SCMM forum and if you have Facebook, we also post on the San Fernando Valley Mini Cooper Owners page. It'd be nice to get another R56 out there so I can pick your brains with the mods you have.

Ha! Pick away...although my list of mods is pretty short compared to others or even what I'd like to do. First thing I'm hoping to find out is what an R56 feels like WITHOUT RFs. Anyone willing to offer a test drive?

No one has really brought their family but it's prolly because it's later in the evening and it's cold but of course your more than welcome to bring the family!

You are correct! We need to... some of us have come over to LA to run with Cali folks.. we have done the Coogies meet up on PCH and done the canyon runs... Always a great time..Been talking with some people here that we need to do again...
