Vinyl/Leather Bra

I have the clear bra on my GP, but I'd like to get a vinyl/leather bra as well for long road trips.

I haven't been able to locate a company that makes a bra for the GP. Azminiman had one modified to fit his, but I was wondering who else has one, and where they purchased it?

The bodykit on the GP unlike any others, but maybe the R53 JCW bra will fit the GP?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

No manufacture makes a leather bra for a GP. None of the R50,R53 bras will fit with out being modified.

go with clear bra...I did three years ago when I got my GP.....I love it!! AND it has saved my front from many rock chips and scratches. The leather ones retain moisture underneath....not good over time.

I have the clear bra on both of my MINIs. I just wanted a leather for the long trips because the AZ roads are hard on the MINIs. We get lots of rock chips and while the clear bra is good, the leather offers a little more protection.

No worries, guess I should design my own and sell them. I know I'd have close to 2,000 (give or take a few) prospective customers!

These bras do not fit the cars well. You will have a fairly good sized gap by the headlights and this will keep all kinds of debris causing scrathes.

Clear bras do a good job for the most part... The over about 98% of the streight on shots of the rock.. But yes, the 2% not covered is a huge 2% The rocks will find that area... Sadly i know by experiance.

Leather bras are great for long trips. Much more debrit out on the open roads.. especally in AZ. BUT they do require lots of care. I would not ever travel long distance with out one. Thats why I had one custom cut for the GP. The MOSS MINI bras I have found to be the best fitting all around. Slim chance of debrit causing scratchs if you properly car for it.. AND especially, dont use if it is raining. Thats when the debrit and road grit WILL scratch.
