"Correct" red for calipers
I painted the rear calipers on my GP with just some random red paint I found at advance auto parts. It does not say what red it is. And it matches pretty good. Just make sure you get some bright red.
I used the G2 Kit on my rears this past weekend, and it's a slightly more orange/red, but still a fairly close match if you aren't looking very closely. I've used the G2 paint before, and I'm impressed by how well it stands the test of time.
It appears to be Mini Chili Red but I do not know what normal red that matches. As Socrates stated it does not match the G2 Red. It does not match any of the shades of red spray paint I have found at hardware stores. It does not match the red (I believe Crimson Red) that my Wilwood Caliper are powered coated.
I almost sent them off to be powdercoated, but didn't really want to go through the hassle, as I figured the G2 kit would be a close match. They tend to be brake dust-covered 90% of the time anyway, so they are more of a grey/red most of the time, which makes it hard to tell the difference anyway.
