So you bought 0019? Congrats! Another place to check for rattles are the two vents on the inside just beneath the hatch. There is some plastic ducting that gets loose and bumper skin needs to come off to access. Should be covered under warrenty. Btw the way the "rear tower brace" isn't one, just a cargo bar to keep large items from flying into your head when you brake hard.

GMann has identified another source for noise in the GP (which I also had on mine) Anyway, the sound for this is a definite "plastic on plastic" sound, and the flapper was broken on one of these two cabin venting devices (relieves the air pressure when you close the doors or rear hatch). They replaced one under warranty, and used some felt strips to quiet/cushion both.

The fill-with-foam-to-fix-the-rear-pillar noise is a creaking or snapping sound, only heard when you're just driving slowly around town. It drove me nuts. As you can see from the posts, it took a lot of "detective work" to diagnose, locate, and then fix. The body flexing just slightly caused it.

Did you open the storage compartment and take the 4 hard plastic jack blocks out of the car?

Glad to see you made it home ok.

Oh funny I tried to make the noise, did not make it. But earlier I took stuff out to look/use for tool to pull out grill above exhaust so I could put additional reverse light.

My GP noise, thanks to a collaborative work of Chief Charlie's tech guy and my SA here in MD, has disappeared.

Now, my GyPsy is garaged, under her cover waitig for the newxt autocross season to start...
Need to deal with the tires situation but it will be in a few months
