The Geezer Factor
I've known really young 70yos, and really old 30yos. A lot of it is attitude.
my favorite quote
My body is well on its way towards a not-very-well-preserved corpse.
What's so cool about MINI is that most people can find a lot they like about them. They aren't reserved just for 25-35yo soccer moms with 2.5 children, or 45yo male executives. It's niche is not having one (?). Isn't it wierd that people that like them are SO varied?

Hey, look at my NAM signature. It has the same quote (kinda). My other favorite saying is "I'll sleep when I'm dead!"
By the way just how old are you when you are a geezer? I've read through this thread and it's interesting most of the age disclosures are from people who are not geezers.
OK, Mom.
Agreed! Just a number, nothing more.

as in 0 -60?
My husband and I like to drive thru the village of Ebenezer in Mo. We've decided when we retire, we're moving and become the two geezers from Ebenezer! I'm 50 and don't feel like a geezer yet though.
57 soon, skidding sideways and loving it. When I hit 60, I'm walking out of work and have some real fun. Then, I might be moving to Nevada soon....just me and my pygmy...err...my MINI pony. Gonna raise me a crop of dental floss, be my own boss.
I have always thought of my age as "just a number", if I ever really thought about it at all. Then a clerk somewhere asked me "Are you a senior citizen?" Whoa! "I never really thought about it . But now that you ask, I guess I am if it's cheaper." I have 5 offspring, all grown, many married.
My kids have had conversations as though I weren't in the room (He can't hear us anyway.) about the relative differences between geezers, coots and cogers (How do you spell "caujer"?). They decided I fell into the coot category, while my dad was a coger.

Offical "BOG" ( Bald Old Guy)here. Been that way since I was in my early 20's. Cronological age is in the mid 50's mental age is 18, always has been, always will be. Increasing in years is a blessing, you have the money to do the stuff you couldn't afford when you were younger.
Two indicators in my family:
1. I'm listening to a hard rock station on the MINI radio, and after a long set with Jimi, Doors, Stones, etc. the jock sez,"That was for all you aging freaks out there!" Ouch. I realized that was me. Good thing - It'll happen to everyone sooner or later. ;-)
2. My Dad, who has aged remarkably well, was once cruising in his old red Chrysler convertible with his Taz hat on, when two college cuties pulled up next to him at a light, and one of 'em asked, "Hey, little red car, where you going with that old guy?", and laughed - my dad laughed pretty hard, too, and they waved at him as the left. He told me that's when he really made the connection that just how young you feel has nothing to do with how old you are.
