Changing the side indicator lens....

from the orange to clear. Do I need to get amber light bulbs or can I use white??? Not sure if there are safety issues or laws regarding this. Also does the lense just pop off without having to remove the entire unit from the inside???

Thanks for the help.

There are laws. Usually the white lenses will come packaged with amber bulbs. The lens pops out very easily; you just have to push it toward the front of the car, and it will come right out along with the bulb, wire, etc. Then you have to rotate the bulb assembly with respect to the lens to get that to pop out. Very easy!

The vent does not need to come off. I push the lens towards the REAR of the car, then lift off the front edge. I can do this with just my fingers and fingernails, but if you are doing it the first time the front edge may be tight and you might need a screwdriver to help.

GAH! Sorry if I said it backwards! It will feel as if it's spring-loaded, and once you pull it all the way back, you should be able to pull it away from the car.
