What's interesting is that not everyone who votes votes for all of the categories.

At this point, 930 for the Mini matchup, 863 for the Fusion-Altima, 929 for the BWM-Mercedes, and 1,346 for the Porsche-Nissan matchup.

If the list reflects the brackets, next round should be easy as the Mini will take on the Altima. It looks like the BMW will take on the Z.

I predict the final two being the BMW and the Mini.

There's a whole other half of the bracket that includes things like the Escalade, etc.

Also if you look at the past results, they are not, and I'm being kind here, entirely rational. (Well, the MINI just squeeking by the Ford Crown Victoria ought to be evidence enough of that.) In particular it seems that the voting is being flooded by Nissan Z fans (it beat both the Corvette and the Porsche Cayman ) and I wouldn't be surprised to see it continue win against any competition.

Unlike 350Z aficionados, we're in a fortunate situation as we can vote our conscience, since the MINI really *is* the greatest car in the world.
