I think I read that although it gives the appearance of another vote, it does not actually count.

Get out and vote! The total vote numbers from the quarter finals yesterday were both very close. If everyone participates from the previous votes, we could have a final margin of 1 or 2 percent!!!

The database may only register unique IP addresses from where the vote is coming from.

Whenever I set things like this up, I also add a list of known proxy IP addresses to not count as well.

I voted a few times.....only for my friends who would have voted for the MINI, but were unable to go to the site. Just to be fair.
Oh yeah. I am sure my kindergarten teacher would have voted for MINI, let me go make sure she gets her voice in this......

Torque steering FWD vs. No Torque steer RWD *** car. I will never buy a Japanese car for personal reasons. But I still hate the Torque steer. I want something small, fun, and not so expensive (under $25000). What else should I look at? 119 days to go until delivery...

If you empty your cookies and vote multiple times, your vote doesn't get counted - it merely shows you the results. It might appear that you vote is getting counted because you don't get a message or warning.

Either way, Mini should be able to beat the Z based on just its merit and the huge fan base.

Care to share your personal reason for never buying a Japanese car? I hope it isn't Pearl Harbor because the Mini is now technically German

I must be slow but I don't see a post vote button. I can check the box but how do you register your vote. Or may I have a paper ballot I need to confirm my vote.

Too bad you can only vote once per computer... unless you clear "cars.com" cookies from your "temporary internet files" after every vote...
