I've had my Lightning Blue S for a week now. I love the color more every day--I had thought I wanted BRG, but glad I chose blue!

Good choice with Lightning Blue . Now have to see pictures ! Happy Motoring ! Turbo = watch your speed !

 

We picked ours up mid-September and we just love the color. What makes it even more special is that you just don't see many of them around, especially Cabrio!!

 

Sweet looking Cooper . Topless is the way to motor .

 

I'm still surprised they discontinued this color. I've been waiting for more than a year to get my MINI (waiting for refresh) and this was the color I wanted. Now it's BRG, or maybe Midnight Black....hmmm, good thing I have some more time to decide.

 

since this color has been discontinued, it makes me wonder just how many were actually made with this color. I wonder how many LiB 2007 S convertible automatics were actually made. You add in the particular options and it might be an even smaller number. I wonder if anybody has access to actual production numbers?

I am surprised to see they aren't making Lighting Blue anymore. I wonder why? I'll post another picture of mine soon.

Count me in as well, I just brought my 08 LiB MCCS home from the west coast of Canada last week. At first I wanted laser blue, but I couldn't be happier now with Lightning!

I ordered my 2012 MCS convertible yesterday and Lightning Blue is Back! It's the color I wanted since I saw it in London in 2001. So happy it was there to see in person at the dealership yesterday.

It was my birthday yesterday so I made an appt for Otto's (Clubman) oil change and to order the vert. My family thinks I'm crazy, but they don't understand MINI love.

Only wish my husband had lived to see it. Hopefully he'll come along for a ride with me when it arrives. I do believe he knows I did it. He told me years ago before BMW acquired MINI that I should have one. I thought he was crazy. Little did I know the MINI would capture my heart when we saw it in the UK.

It is my obsession. One MINI just isn't enough!

I was set on ordering my '12 S in BRGII but our first few '12 Lightning Blues has me about changed my mind.

 

I love my color, but ashamed to say I have not the foggiest if it is Lightning/Laser or bluebonnet...this picture looks pretty accurate...vas es?
