Then he said it'll be at his place 3 weeks afterwards...

Hello all. Mine was finished 4/18, awaiting a ship. LiB/B MC, manual, Sport, Cold, Prem, leatherette, anthracite liner, piano black, front and rear fogs, etc.

 

Everyone who sees my car compliments my paint. Lightning blue is the best color EVER.

 

My lightning blue/black trim Clubman Cooper S is in the distribution center. I should have him by the weekend. I'll post pics as soon as he arrives.

 

Hi to all! I'm a member-in-waiting of the club, having recently ordered my first MCS. I went back and forth on the color, and I'm glad I picked such a cool one. Anyway, the waiting is no fun, but I'm told it's worth it!

 

And wow, he is a beauty. I picked him up Friday morning, but had precious little time to get acquainted, as I'm doing a away-from-home work thing for a few days. I'll post pictures when I return. And I love the black trim details - very cool. Goatdog, you made the right color choice. It's so fun when the salesperson goes through everything with you - you forget that it has such nice touches as mood lighting, and you can change the color to suit your mood!

 

Thanks, I'd forgotten about the lighting and will be sure to have my MA show that to me when the time comes. Until then, I have to keep the 12 yr old Nissan running...

 

Is this mood lighting part of one of the packages, or is it standard?

 

I believe it's a standard feature, where you can ramp the lights from orange to white to blue. I'll know better when I finally have my MCS!

 

 

Yeah, the wait is killing me. My car should be at the VDC now, and I sent my MA an email today asking when I could expect to see it and was told probably next week . I'm out of town during the week and was hoping (but not expecting) to pick it up during the coming holiday weekend, but that looks unlikely now. Well, I've waited six weeks so far, so I guess I can wait two more. Argh. Thanks for listening to me vent and whine.

Very nice! I went with the black roof, and bonnet stripes too. (Although my mirrors will be black also)
My MINI is suppose to unload today, if it hadn't unloaded yesterday, from the ship. The vessel departs today, and I don't show as unloaded yet on the Wallenius Wilhelmsen site. MA said I just might be motoring in 5-7 days...

That stinks you have to wait an extra couple weeks, but see it this way, your MINI is waiting on your for a change!

Looks like I should join the club. We've had Tristan since May last year (the 6th), he's just had his first birthday. Tristan's the practical one in the family, I commute with him most days, but thats not far. We've only done 8000 miles in the last year.
