Nice choice, are you happy with it? I hear the diesels have some great get up and go thanks to the huge amount of torque that diesel pumps out.

My previous car was a 136 BHP diesel (Peugeot) with 360 Nm torque, so... i do miss a little more power under the bonnet.. but the general quality and features of the Mini vs. Peugeot - ... WOW.. i'm in love and will never have anything else !

To my knowledge, Lightning Blue is only availible on the R56 models, and your is older - Can't remember the name of that color ! - Might be Indy Blue

what year is your MINI. Lightning Blue is the darker blue for the 07 and 08s. i i believe it was hyper blue in 06, it's close to lightning blue though. when i'm looking at the engine with the bonnet (hood) up there is a sticker on the passenger side that says the name of the color. i'm not sure if it's like that for all the MINIs or not

Ok I will figure this out darn it, McGhee is a 2006 S hardtop. All my paperwork says "blue" big help huh? Thing is that it has a flame pin strip and everything else is a sparkly royal blue. I'm new to the game here so please bear with me. Does anybody know if there is a site/link or something you can punch a vin into to give you all these details? I really wanna figure this out and my husband(they guy who bought it for me for my 25th b-day) has no idea. He's not real into cars. I really need some in depth help here. It's driving me crazy and I feel like a complete DORK!!!!!!!!!

Ok everyone here's whats up. My lil M.C. McGhee is a 2006 first gen, in hyper blue. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!! 
Yeah I finally got it confirmed. Don't asked how because I don't have enough time to explain. I'm such a dork sometimes.

I just picked up my LB MCS with W top today... Bought it off the Dealers lot, last 2007 MCS with Manual Transmission he had... Hope to post pics tomorrow, just got it home and it's dark!! I really hate winter time...
