A lot. Good point. My point though is that if you're going to all hot and bothered and activated about something - how about making it something meaningful? Why don't you stuff GWB's mail box with messages about Darfur instead of bugging some lame cartoonist?

In any event - do what you will.

Peace.

These posts are bordering on the political side... which isn't permitted here on NAM. Be careful folks. I'm letting them slide because they don't specifically promote nor denounce any one candidate or political party. The mention of GWB is more about the fact he happens to be president right now... if this were 8 years ago, it could have been the exact same message only the initials WJC inserted instead.

In any case - can we please get back on topic to the comic strip?

Because some people can get hot and bothered about any number of things, and not just one thing. Frankly, Darfur isn't even on my radar. Too many other things that are far more serious on a global scale.

Has no one even noticed these guys are wearing mercedes shirts? It's obvious they have their own "issues" is you want to get into stereotypes :P

Hey StoopidGirl, Good point. Can't believe I overlooked their shirt emblems.

For the record, I am having fun with this thread. Frankly, I couldn't care less whether a cartoonist is poking fun of the car and or stereotyping/profiling the nature of its owners.

Life's too short, and I'm trying to get into the 6th gear lounge someday. Are there cartoons in there?

My sig covers issues that need paying attention to, like stuff we're not allowed to discuss on NAM....not some lame individual's take on MINIs.

nice. This from someone who said "I'm outta here as well. Had enough of NAM". I guess you need to stick around to make snide remarks, eh? Good luck with that.

I was simply correcting a bit of gender confusion.

I saw the cartoon and was completely and utterly offended!
Que quiere decir mariposa?

Just look at that MINI! There's only half a sunroof, the gas cap is on the wrong side:impatient and the cabin is too tall even for a MINI. I'm going complain!

Side note: Those 'ammending' the comic should know that it is copyrighted material. Doubtful they'd do anything, but FYI.

Side note V2.0: I love the irony of posts that exclaim surprise at the number of posts (while adding to them.)
Side note V2.3: I love even more the irony of posting about the important things we should be doing instead of posting here.

Any MINI owners still feel "extremely injusticed" at this strip?

Like Eric_Rowland pointed out, the cartoonist obviously doesn't know MINIs given the crappy drawing. So how can he portray an accurate stereotype?

Lets Motor and not rant about something so lame....
