so .. i go on vacation finally yey yippee.. for 9 days and the car's in the carport all happy and snug.

Come back, turn it on and smell the stinky burning smelly something. Pop the hood, and there is a whole pile of ... TRASH. hello rat nest.

Ok, taking it in stride. Get it towed to the dealership after waiting like 3 hours for the tow truck to come by, and they nicely agree to take it on the spot. At the end of the day, it's cleaned up. No damage to any components but a nice bill coz of the labor.

Then, decide not to risk the rats and so parked on the street. There's a big dumpster near the carport. Snow comes in piles and piles and piles and I've forgotten to listen to the forecast. It takes me three days to dig out.

Move it to another street spot where no one can park in front (big pila snow) or behind (curb, but with good space behind).

Next day:

Mirror is broken :( Someone broke it. I HAD tucked it in too... luckily the car wasn't hit at all except for a scratch where the mirror limply swug down. It's kinda strange that they manage to hit just the mirror. I'da thought is would be hard to hit it when it's closed isn't it ??!

so tomorrow off to the dealer again ... yippeee.

 

Oh dear...bad luck comes in 3s, so I'm thinking your bad "car"ma is over now!

All this bad luck makes me wonder, how can a car with such good all around vibe can be having all bad things happening to it?
