I learned a lot off the thread for 'Things you didnt know about your Mini'. However, there are times when I motoring about, and I'll hear a 'ding'. The temp hasnt dropped below 37F, and no warning lights come on. It happens with or without cruise control. Any ideas.... other than Miranda she letting me know how happy she is to be motoring with me?

That ding is to alert you of the possibility of ice since the temp has dropped to below 37 degrees.

It's kind of the "Marco.... Polo" of the MINI world. She says, "Ding" and you say "Dong". Just a way to pass the time while you're motoring.
