I appreciate all the input from everyone. I do need to make up my mind ASAP as my R53 was totalled last month. I have been driving a Seabring convertable rental car for the last 30 days.....lol. not really my style. I am going to the dealership and order a new R56 from ISELLEM no less....

I totaled my modded 2003 MCS in Nov 06. Once I decided that I still wanted a Mini, I had to make the same decision. I looked at three options. 1) Used Mini and add many mods, 2) GP and a few mods, or 3) 2007 R56 and a few mods. I went with the GP. I am very happy with the decision. The R56 has potential but I did not want to wait, deal with new model problems, and I did not think I would not have enough money left over (after base price and deal make-ups) to mod properly.
Too late Mike has already ordered his 07 Mini turbo
