Appreciate if anyone could recommend (from personal experience) a place in the San Francisco bay area that does a good job of replacing the windshield. I know there's Safelite, but some threads indicate they aren't good. As we all know, the dealer isn't the place to do this - mine wants to charge around $800. I have a 2004 Mini Cooper and there are 2 cracks (caused by stones) on it. Thanks.

 

What I did was contact my dealer (In Ohio) and asked who they use to replace windows if someone comes to the dealership to get the work done. The Service Advisor gave me the name and number of the person that they use and I called him directly. Worked well for me because he knew all the little tricks in doing the job right.
