The Official Pure Silver Owners Club
They must have... inside the little faux leather portfolio with all the owners manuals, there's a sticker with the VIN, barcode, year of the car, and the color. PURE_SILVER

Just picked up an '07 MCS in Pure Silver with black roof and mirrors. Also has black Lounge Leather. Only had it a month but really love it.
Very excited to finally post my PS child here, I ordered him in March of 2006 and he arrived on the 27th of April, all mine and 102,000 miles later - still love him like he was new! Fresh detail on the 4th of February. Charlie Cooper - Nashville to Pasadena transplant.
Honest trepidation, also proper car knowledge. If I'm going to join an owners forum, I want to show up informed. I have been a fan since the start though, first MINI to join my family was in 2003 and then mine in 2006. Both PS body/roof combo and blackout windows. I am so so very happy to be in the NAM community :D
Here is my 2007 Mini One in Pure Silver. Not quite as many R56 around in this colour, was discontinued in 2009 as well if I remember correctly.
During the winter with his Rotator Spokes:

Summer time means Crown Spoke time! :D

Great looking car!
Nice to see another PS/PS! Even rarer, purer color
Your pics make me miss my crown spokes, w/c always remind me of Union Jacks. Too bad my wife hated the ride on the runflats, i traded for bridge spokes on regular tires.
Didn't realize how much smaller the Smart is compared to a MINI until i saw your 2nd pic

Here is my 2004 Justa r50. I have blacked out the grill and headlight trim, added a light bar with driving lights, and replaced the headliner with black vinyl. Not too much has been done to it but I love the car. I bought it around July 2013 with 114,000 miles.
bought her in March 2013 with 13k miles. JCW pkg, LSD, no sunroof.

The original light housings tend to rust from the inside out. Try taking the lights apart and checking the ground wires. They may be corroded and bad. Assuming the bulbs are not blown.

Hi guys! New to the forum and just found this thread! I snapped some quick pictures with my phone
.
Funny how I ended up with this car. I got into an accident(not my fault of course
) in October and my car was totaled. Being an accident of course, I was not prepared nor thinking about buying a new car. I just knew I wanted another small hatch. I needed a car quick for work and school so the week or so that I had after finding out that the car was totaled I said "Hey, Mini Coopers are cool" and started to search on craigslist etc for one. I really wanted one in British Racing Green with black or brown leather but non of them fit my criteria. I ended up with an 08 Pure Silver Metallic, 47k with beige interior. To be honest I was not a fan at first but over the 2 and a half months of owning it, I like it more and more everyday. I took the car in for the timing chain recall a few weeks ago and the guy said "Nice car" and in my head I was thinking "what do you mean, you WORK at a mini dealership..." but he told me he doesn't see interior that isn't black very often. I've already caught the "mod-bug" and it's a shame that I couldn't pull parts from my Honda to sell and buy mods for the Cooper.
Also, thanks for this thread. I'm still up on the fence about whether I want to get the black w/white pinstripes for the bonnet. It's nice seeing some silver coopers with them
.
I already have an Alta intake and plan to get the springs/control arms/RSB package from WMW in a month or so!

So long old friend!
